A bit of history
MTP (from Polish: Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie) exists since 1921, when the first trade fair took place. During the WW2 it stopped to operate and 85% of its infrastructure has been destroyed. Yet in 1946 it started to operate once more and very quickly, in 1947, it has regained its international character.
In 2015 MTP fairgrounds were participated by almost 10 000 exhibitors and visited by over 600 000 of visitors. Those numbers are quite impressive.
